It was a captivating experience I had with my family last June 22, 2022 as we feed our of delight and happiness going to the famous pride of Carles in Iloilo for island hopping, the Isla de Gigantes.

As we arrived at the Bancal Port, a pack of tourists line up for the payment of fees and I can clearly see that they're as excited as we are. When it's our turn to enter the booth where we can get our ticket access to ride a big boat going to numerous islands of Carles, I was curious of the people carrying some phone holders and souvenirs approaching us. They wear smiles and polite as they welcome us to their hometown. As I stepped on the big boat, I can already taste the sweetness of the seas. We relaxed ourselves as we feel the fresh breeze and the breathtaking views we see upon having a almost two hours ride from the port to the first Island we'll explore. As we chit-chat along the way, the gossip stopped as we're mesmerized with the big island with the sculpt of sedimentary rocks that is intensely hued and attractive. I heard many "wows" as we slowly paved our way to the first Island which is the Tangke island, which has a lagoon inside. The beauty of nature is very obvious as we walked through the island. With crystal clear waters, gigantic rock formations that appeared to be welcoming and surprisingly the tiny fish creatures and a big janitor fish that swam near to us.

The next Island we went to is the Cabugao Island. We were welcomed by the piled stone formations and shell decors whiche amazed me because of the creativity of the residents that lived there. We also went to the famous spot in the island where we took many pictures because the whole island's beauty is visible. The Buko Juice made us refreshed and it's a perfect buddy for the wild heat we felt as we go on with our journey. The next island is called Cabugao Grande. We went there for lunch and I can say that the foods were very worthy to try and my mouth watered on the sight of different freshly harvested seafoods. The sandbar is also located there, it's where we enjoyed swimming because of the clear waters.

For the last island we went to, they call it the Mini Boracay. For it's white fine sand and unique rock formations, we we're highly impressed. There was a Kingkong boulder rock formation where you can climb up and jump from. As I dived in the clear and fresh waters, I see a school of colorful fishes and a fascinating view of the well-preserved coral reef. The wildlife in the islands of Isla de Gigantes were also evident. We saw many monkey flocking and seemed to be observing us as we have our time on the island. They're also friendly. We also saw some bats and snakes that hugs the color of the island. Going there was a magical and unforgettable experience. It was a way of refreshing our minds and reminding us that life is good. Isla de Gigantes is an amazing place to set your leisure time with your family. A mirror of nature's beauty, indeed.
